AKP Group’s foundry operations date back to 1978 in Belgaum, India. AKP Ferrocast, established in 2008 as part of the AKP Group, is an experienced manufacturer of high-strength custom iron castings. Iron Materials and Grades
Our material program is based on ASTM and EN grades and can be aligned with ESMA and GCC requirements on request, supporting dependable performance in UAE conditions.
- Gray Iron (ASTM A48 Class 30–60) – High machinability and vibration damping
- Ductile Iron (ASTM A536 Grade 60-40-18 to 100-70-03) – Superior tensile strength and elongation

Unlike gray, white cast iron contains very little free graphite, thus bearing characteristic appearances and hardness. It can be used in applications that are prone to wear and tear, such as mining and grinding machines. Custom metallurgical properties and certifications (including EN, ASTM, and ISO) can also be given based on UAE client requirements.
