Our Ductile Iron Grades
We use a variety of ductile iron and gray iron grades at AKP Ferrocast, depending on the needs of the industries in which it is used. These grades include SG 450/10, which is equivalent to EN-GJS-450-10 and ASTM 65-45-12, and SG 500/7, equivalent to EN-GJS-500-7 and ASTM 70-50-05, which is much more suitable for construction. For the SG series, SG 450/12 is used for heavy commercial and trucking applications meeting EN-GJS-450-10 and ASTM 60-42-10. For agriculture and tractor parts, we can offer SG 450/10 and SG 500/7 together with other grades such as FG 260 and FG 300, which are compliant with different EN and ASTM requirements. Automotive and compressor components are made from SG 450/12 and FG 200 for utmost accuracy and durability in every automotive application.
